Providing Working Capital for the Production and Sale of Polystyrene Foam

Bespar Foam Rastak is a subsidiary of Sabalan Manufacturing Group, which produces various types of foam and sponge in different densities. This manufacturing group is based in Eyvanaki Industrial Estate in Semnan and has a total production area of 20 thousand square meters. Alongside brands such as Bespar Foam Azin, Fidar, and Atiyeh, Bespar Foam Rastak also produces and supplies foam products for various applications. Bespar Foam Rastak intends to raise 250،000 million rials through crowdfunding on the Halal Fund platform to provide working capital for the production and sale of polystyrene foam. Based on the audited financial statements for the year ended 1402, the project's operating cycle has been set at 12 months. The funding recipient is required to maintain at least the operating cycle specified in this project. It is also necessary to note that, according to the audited financial statements for the year ended 1402/12/29, the company had no sales of polystyrene foam, but it holds a permit (operating license) to produce the product in question at a capacity of 1200 tons per year. According to the applicant's statements (as attached), the average cost per kilogram of polystyrene foam is 1،001،000 rials. The company intends to produce 246،553 kilograms of polystyrene foam during one project operating cycle (12 months). Consequently, the production cost in terms of direct materials is estimated at 246,800 million rials. This project has a flexible funding model and will be considered successful if at least 60 percent of the amount sought by the applicant is raised. Project profits (without guaranteed profit) are expected to be paid every 3 months, starting at the end of the third month; the principal will also be paid at the end of the twelfth month together with the corresponding profit. The principal is guaranteed by the applicant.
