Raising Working Capital to Produce and Supply Various Kashkam Products

Somayeh Food Products Company began its operations by producing lemon juice and kashk. Over its years of operation, the company has expanded its product range by drawing on its experience, technical expertise, and market needs. In this regard, new herbal beverage products under the "Matina" brand were developed in 1396, and a "dried kashk snack" product under the "Kashkam" brand was developed in 1398 and added to the company's product portfolio. The kashk snack (Kashkam) can be suitable as a completely healthy, nutrient-rich snack for children, adolescents, older adults, as well as athletes and people on weight-loss diets. The ingredients used to prepare this product include low-fat yogurt, powdered milk, black seed and sesame, walnuts, saffron, and refined food-grade salt. The presence of each of these added ingredients, such as walnuts, sesame, and saffron, enhances the product's other health benefits. This product has a higher nutritional value than other dairy products. Accordingly, the investee intends, after examining market and customer needs, to raise working capital in the amount of 250,000 million rials to produce and supply various Kashkam products, including single-serving Kashkam, cylindrical Kashkam, and tube-packaged Kashkam, and then sell the manufactured products while maintaining the profit margin estimated in the project. This project uses a flexible funding model and will be considered successful upon raising at least 60 percent of the amount requested by the project applicant. Project returns (without guaranteed returns) are expected to be paid starting at the end of the third month and every 3 months thereafter; the principal will also be repaid at the end of the twelfth month together with the corresponding returns.
